Singapore is a multi-racial and multi-religious society.  The peace and harmony that we have been enjoying in our society today can be fragile.  We will need to continuously build up the understanding, trust, dialogue, social bonding and tolerance of cultural and religious differences.

To promote inter-faith understanding, South-east CDC is organising in Oct 2010 the 4th Exploration Into Faiths (EIF) Facilitator Training Program 2010.  Buddhist Fellowship has been invited to send participants for this annual program.  

The benefits for the individual participants can be summarised below:

i.  Develop a better understanding of the various faiths being practised in Singapore;

ii.  Self-exploration of your own faith, and have a dialogue with others on various religious issues;

iii.  Reach beyond 'religious tolerance' for something deeper and more meaningful;

iv.  Understand the fundamentals of experiential learning and practise basic facilitation skills; and 

v.  Expand your own network of contacts from the participants of various faiths.
